Tarom Copper Industries Company (PJS) was registered in Tehran, in 2006, with the construction of industrial and mineral collection Tarom, Company is completely non-governmental. Founders of the company have been activists industry and mining sector in recent 20 years, in Iran.

Base on technical and economic requirements, project will run 300 km west of Tehran, 120 km North West of Qazvin,60 km east of Zanjan in Tarom-e-sofla area, in the vicinity of Cheeze copper mine. Ore of cheeze mine will feed the plant supplier. The villages around the area include: Mahin, Brvaj and Cheeze The following map, shows approximate site location.
